Historia

Balan veljekset perustivat studion vuonna 1990 lukion aikana.

Tammikuussa 2005 kustantaja Activision osti studion .

Huhtikuun 5. päivänä 2016 tuli tunnetuksi, että Balan veljekset lähtivät studiosta [1] .

8. joulukuuta 2016 studio teki yhteistyötä Bungien kanssa Destiny - franchisingin kehittämiseksi [2] .

22. tammikuuta 2021 studiosta tuli osa Blizzard Entertainmentia [3] [4] .

20. helmikuuta 2021 BlizzConline-tapahtumassa ilmoitettiin, että Vicarious Visions Blizzard Entertainmentin alaisuudessa julkaisee parhaillaan Diablo II:ta uudelleen nimellä Diablo II: Resurrected [5] .

18. tammikuuta 2022 Microsoft ilmoitti ostavansa Activision Blizzardin 68,7 miljardilla dollarilla [6]
